ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Web Developer to join our team remotely.

In this role you will design, create, and modify Websites. You will analyze user needs to implement Website content, graphics, performance, and capacity. You may integrate Web sites with other computer applications as well as convert written, graphic, audio, and video components to compatible Web formats by using software designed to facilitate the creation of Web and multimedia content.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Designs, develops, and publishes web sites supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) customers for DHS only and Public access.
  • Collaborates with customers and stakeholders to identify requirements, design systems software, develop updates to existing applications, and build in cyber security to reduce the attack surface
  • Coordinates and collaborates with technical teams providing advice, staying abreast of technical solutions, and provide necessary graphics, web site content to support the DHS customer mission
  • Capture requirements, analyze customer needs to design, develop, test, and deploy websites ensuring integration with other applications as required using web formats used by the anticipated customers.
  • Develops and maintains diagrams, documentation, and other artifacts that web development, track and test deployed web sites to ensure currency, support maintenance, troubleshooting, operations, and security of web sites
  • Uses software development best practices for code documentation, development, refactoring, and other core functions to facilitate ease of use and reuse by other software developers, quality assurance evaluators, and software audits
  • Analyze, review, recommend changes as appropriate to ensure web site availability, technology platforms integration, and ease of use ensuring alignment with mission, laws, regulations, and policies

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or similar field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge and use of Web development, testing, and analysis tools
  • Knowledge of various software programming languages, i.e. Python, Java, C++, Cobol, etc. 
  • Understanding and experience with primary network topologies, LANs, WANs and other common network standards; understanding of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and QoS, MPLS
  • IAM III/IAT III

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One of the following certifications: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Data Management Pr5ofessional (CDMP), Six Sigma Certification, ITIL4 
  • ServiceNow Certification 
  • Understanding of ITIL4 principles 

Clearance Requirements: 

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD suitability is required prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% 
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer 
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. 

The projected compensation range for this position is $63,700.00-$105,800.00.
