Description & Requirements

ManTech is seeking a Wargame Analyst in support of a government contract for wargaming in Quantico, Va. 

Analytical lead for all wargaming efforts. Develops with the game director and sponsor the problem statement, game purpose and objectives for each wargame. Interfaces with the game design team as to direct the scope and depth of each wargame design. Develops a data collection management plan to collect all qualitative and quantitative data produced during game play.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assists in scoping, developing, planning, executing, and assessing the wargame program.
  • Summarizes important points of discussion relative to game objectives in support of the wargaming mission.
  • Coordinates effective participation with other DOD and government organizations in MCWL wargames.
  • Reviews, maintains, and incorporates best techniques from the Wargaming Community of Practice into Wargame Branch processes.
  • Creates, reviews, and submits wargame deliverables with writing skills commensurate with professional military publications.
  • Coordinates preparation of postgame analytic reports and prepares executive briefings summarizing findings and implications to senior decision-makers.
  • Identifies delivery timelines and establishes intermediate milestones for analytical wargame.
  • Reports to include data organization, categorization, analysis, and presentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years’ experience.  A total of 10 years’ experience without a degree
  • Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience with planning and accomplishing designer goals and directing others in this work

Clearance Requirements:

  • Current DOD Secret clearance, with ability to acquire TS/SCI

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
