MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Warehouse and Logistics Manager to join our team in California, MD. This is an on-site, and part time position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing warehouse operations including inventory control, shipping, receiving, and material handling
Coordinate and track material movement in support of DoD projects, including 1149 transfer documentation
Maintain compliance with AS9100 quality standards and company policies
Ensure proper storage, packaging, and transportation of equipment and materials
Monitor and enforce shipping and receiving protocols for accuracy and efficiency
Support audits, inspections, and reporting requirements
Train staff on safe warehouse practices; ensure ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification
Coordinate with program and logistics teams to meet operational needs
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience in logistics and warehouse operations supporting DoD projects
Experience with shipping and receiving procedures and DoD Form 1149 transfers
Knowledge and experience with AS9100 standards and compliance
Obtain and maintain forklift truck driver certification within 6 months of hire according to OSHA 1910.178
Obtain and maintain a Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Current and active forklift certification
Current and active DOT medical card
Clearance Requirements:
US Citizenship required and a Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the workday
The ability to frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations with ability to exchange accurate information in these situations
The ability to operate a computer, and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
The ability to operate a motorized passenger vehicle or equipment is an essential function of this role.
The projected compensation range for this position is $116,300.00-$185,300.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
