Description & Requirements

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) Specialist III to join our team in Fort Meade, MD.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define user interface requirements and design innovative user experiences.

  • Developing and implementing strategic vision for user interface designs, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications.

  • Ensuring that design concepts are aligned with user needs and mission outcomes and conducting user research, usability testing, and other user-centered design activities.

  • Creating and maintaining design guidelines, templates, and style guides and working with developers to ensure that design concepts are implemented accurately and efficiently.

  • Supervising and mentoring subordinate project and ICON Innovation Collaborative (IIC) staff.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline and nine (9) years of position specific relevant experience.

  • Experience in UI/UX design, product design and/or enterprise application fields or relevant customer-facing job roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.

  • Proven experience in user research, usability testing, and design thinking.

  • Strong visual design skills with a focus on clean, modern design.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

  • Relevant industry certifications desirable.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
