ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Transportation Specialist II to join our team in Poznan, Poland. This is an onsite position. The selected candidate will provide maintenance and logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Agriculture Cleaning and African Swine Fever Sanitization (ACAS) program. The Transportation Specialist II is responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions The Transportation Specialist II may receive guidance and direction from the Transportation Manager II.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Plans, directs, or coordinates transportation, storage, or distribution activities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable government laws or regulations.

  • They operate material handling equipment and have knowledge of industrial safety requirements.

  • Have the ability to determine logistic support sequences and time-phasing, and to anticipate transportation problems related to operational areas and environmental and human factors.

  • They coordinate logistical movements to support operational cleaning and sanitization events.

  • They coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate movement and access to cleaning / sanitization sites, including all host nation applicable installation access procedures.

  • They facilitate the creation, review, and submission of requirement documentation for site access.

  • They document the equipment moved, received, and processed. Proactively supports the ACAS Safety Plan.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree (Permitted experience exchange: High School and 6 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 4 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree)

  • 4 years of work experience

  • 3 years of position specific relevant experience.

  • Able to work in a team environment with independent assignments.

  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Outlook, Excel, common software applications, and other office equipment.

  • Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous worked in international transportation operations.

  • Training and experience as a Military Logistics as a Movement Controller or Road Master.

  • Training and experience with scheduling and dispatching of trucks, trains, aircraft, and other delivery mechanisms at a CONUS or international logistics / retail company.

  • Possesses professional communication skills in both verbal and written formats for conducting daily business with vendors and other organizations.

  • Capable of compiling and updating status reports, databases, and spreadsheets, as well as planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects

Clearance Requirements:

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance prior to starting

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.

  • Must be able to push, pull, and reach.

  • Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
