Description & Requirements

ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Test Engineering SME to join our team in the Fort Meade, Maryland area.  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

  • Assisting the government in performing the test and evaluation work.

  • Collecting test plans and integration work to assist with the design and appropriate testing.

  • Providing thought leadership and guidance.

  • Serving as an experienced resource to provide expert guidance in resolving issues identified during testing to improve the overall quality of the software and systems.

  • Supervising and mentoring subordinate project staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

  • Twelve or more (12+) years of experience as a Test Engineer, preferably in a software development environment.

  • Without a bachelors degree, four (4) additional years of experience are required

  • With an Associate’s degree rather than a Bachelors degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required

  • Candidates with a Masters degree are credited with 2 additional years of experience

  • Candidates with a PhD are credited with 4 additional years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with automated test platforms such as Selenium.

Clearance Requirements: 

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

The projected compensation range for this position is $157,900.00-$263,200.00.
