ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Task Lead to join our team in Linthicum, MD. This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities are included but not limited to:
Leads the tasks to perform forensic imaging and extraction of digital information in support of forensic examinations to develop evidence and intelligence information. Ensures all data imaging and extraction of media is completed within specified timelines.
Ensures technicians record, document, and maintain written notes throughout the forensic imaging and extraction process and input data into appropriate information systems. Ensures forensic imaging and extraction capabilities and technician skills keep up with associated technological advancements.
Computer Hardware Engineer - Research, design, develop, or test computer or computer-related equipment for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use.
May supervise the manufacturing and installation of computer or computer-related equipment and components.
Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives. Has domain and expert technical knowledge.
Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met. Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management.
Decision-making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation. May supervise others.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, digital forensics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
15+ years of experience in cyber forensics, incident response, or a related field, with demonstrated experience in program management. Experience with the DoD or other government agencies is highly desirable.
Cyber/IT related certifications (e.g. CFCE, EnCE, ACE, SANS GIAC (GCFE, GCGA,. GASF), CTA DOD Certification, TCA (Teet Tech)
Must maintain a DoD 8570/8410 IAT Level I/II
Strong understanding of cyber forensic principles, methodologies, and tools. Experience with various operating systems, network protocols, and security technologies.
Demonstrated ability to lead or manage a team of technical professionals. Strong project management, communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in working with Federal Government customers, specifically Department of Defense and Intelligence Community agencies.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have an Active TS/SCI security clearance
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
