Description & Requirements
We are currently seeking a motivated Systems Test Engineer Tomahawk with an active Secret clearance to join our team in King George, VA. This is an On-Site position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work as part of a multi-contractor/government team to perform system test tasks, including the development of content and inputs for test plans, test procedures, and test reports
Conduct test analysis of the Tomahawk Weapon System (TWS) and the Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System (TTWCS), including test requirements analysis and support for project development reviews
Generate and evaluate problem reports as part of Integrated Software/System Level tests, Formal Qualification Tests (FQT), Software Build FQT, and Segment/System tests
Prepare presentations for technical meetings and management reviews and conduct laboratory demonstrations of tactical systems and simulators under development/test
Generate metrics for readiness reviews, conduct requirements analysis, and create metrics charts and status presentations
Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to discuss and resolve issues/comments and track resolution through to final approval
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Graduate Equivalent Degree (GED)
Five (5) or more years of System Test experience with real-time Weapon Systems
Three (3) or more years of concurrent experience with the Tomahawk Weapon System (TWS)/Tactical Tomahawk Weapon System (TTWCS) or prior service as an E-6 or higher
Five (5) years of general experience in the engineering, design, development, or testing and evaluation of a Navy combat system, with three (3) years of recent experience in any of the following areas:
Test requirements definition
Test Plan/Procedures development, maintenance, and execution
Test data reduction and analysis
Computer program performance analysis and reporting
Simulations
Willingness to travel about 10% of the time to shipboard or other designated Government or Contractor facilities. Flexibility for short-notice test site support for emergent testing is required
Preferred Qualification:
Familiarity with Configuration Management (CM) processes and Configuration Control Board (CCB) support, including performing requirements traceability.
Service in the US Navy or familiarity with US Naval operations.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance prior to starting this position.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
Occasional movement within the office for communication and accessing resources.
