ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer to join our team in Lexington Park, MD. This is an onsite position.

This position will support various Navy projects, including transformation, research, development, implementation, and training & education initiatives, by providing systems engineering expertise. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for identifying, formulating, designing, and testing solutions to engineering problems

  • Use systems engineering methodologies and tools to lead the development of new and complex systems throughout the development phase

  • Provide expertise to research, analyze, and develop tools and methods to integrate with modeling environments

  • Collaborate in the conduct of technical reviews in an Authoritative-Source-of-Truth environment

  • Develop, review, and deliver training plans related to systems engineering

  • Domestic Travel up to 10%

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Technical or Scientific area and 3+ years of Engineering or Systems Engineering experience 

  • Demonstrated experience in an area of engineering expertise 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Navy experience 

Clearance Requirements:

  • US Citizenship required and current/active Secret security clearance is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% 

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations

  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations


The projected compensation range for this position is $75,700.00-$126,300.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.  In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.  ManTech’s benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, Short Term and Long Term Disability, Retirement and Savings, Learning and Development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections.
