Description & Requirements
ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer to join our team in Ft. Meade, MD area. In this role, you will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems and manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Attend and run Meetings: Collaboration with Customers and Service Teams (Deployments, Engineering, Networks, etc.) to discuss Install, Move, Removal of equipment within Government Data Centers
Maintain tracking Spreadsheets (excel) to individually report of all 60 Systems moving out of Government spaces to include Schedule/Timeline and Networks Connectivity Dependencies and Efforts
Service Now (SNOW) Ticketing System - tracking Service Teams work efforts (CHTASKs) to ensure tickets/efforts progress forward from conception to closure
Submit SNOW Tickets, as needed for Customers
Submit PSCs, as needed
Access Database: houses all equipment within the organization
Acquire Preliminary Engineering Documentation from Customers/System Owners for Engineering Review
Generate Workbooks
Report to the Customer Management Bi-Weekly on Room Closure progress / delays
Daily communications with Customers and Teams via email communications to promote move, remove and install of Systems
Minimum Qualifications:
Shall have a minimum of Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office tools
Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system
Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related professional engineering discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 70% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
