Description & Requirements

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer, Senior to join our team in the Lexington Park, MD area. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical leadership to a team tasked with identifying, formulating, designing, and testing solutions to known system issues/problems.

  • Responsible for guiding the development of new and complex systems, employing system engineering methodologies and tools throughout the development phase.

  • Provide expertise to research, analyze, and develop tools and methods to integrate with modeling environments.

  • Conduct research in applied systems engineering as necessary in support of advancing the field.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Master of Arts (MA) or Master of Science (MS) degree in a Technical or Scientific area is required, OR a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a Technical or Scientific area, PLUS an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience, for a total of fourteen (14) years of recent and relevant experience, may be substituted for a MA or MS degree.

  • 10+ years of recent and relevant experience in an area of engineering; 3 of those years MUST be directly related to DoD systems

  • This position may require travel within the United States (less than 10%)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Engineering experience with Navy aviation systems.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Top Secret clearance is required to perform work on this contract.

Physical Requirements:

  • Tasking is primarily computer based.  The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC.

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, Customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods (e.g. TEAMS, ZOOM).


The projected compensation range for this position is $143,600.00-$239,300.00.
