Description & Requirements

ManTech is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Systems Engineer IV 

in Ft. Meade, MD.   

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Assist in designing and generating SQL tables, unstructured data systems, and data transmission interfaces to the interconnecting system for which the prototype is designed to operate.  

  • Responsible for security, user access, backups, instance tuning and security controls to protect the data management system(s).  

  • Collaborate closely with software development teams. The Database Administrator II will receive guidance from the Database Administrator III. 

 

Basic qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field 

  • DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order 

  •  12 years of experience in position-relevant tasks. 

 

Preferred qualifications:  

  • Vendor tool certifications appropriate to TDL requirements (e.g., Oracle and Mongo). 

 

Security clearance requirement: 

  • Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and/or maintain a polygraph.   

 

Physical requirements: 

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time 

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel 

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
