ManTech is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Systems Engineer III
in Ft. Meade, MD.
Responsibilities include:
Focusing on DoD 5000.02 artifacts and documentation to perform requirements analysis, including decomposition of high-level requirements into artifacts assignable during Agile program increments and sprints.
Applying systems engineering principles throughout the systems lifecycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement.
Interacting with ICON project teams regarding systems engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
Communicating with other Technical Direction Plan (TDP) project personnel, Government stakeholders, and senior executives.
Technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288, to include: Technical Process Area, Enterprise Process Area, and Agreement Process Area.
Contributing to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation, such as Systems Engineering Plans, initial capability documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documents.
Ensuring regulatory and requirements compliance of IT systems.
Supervising and mentoring subordinate project and ICON Innovation Collaborative (IIC) staff.
Basic qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related discipline and nine (9) years of systems engineering experience.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in STEM or related discipline.
Relevant industry standard certifications such as INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP), Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP) or OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional–Advanced (OCSMP-A) certifications.
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies
Security clearance requirement:
Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain & maintain a Poly
Physical requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
