ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Deployment Specialist to join our team based out of Chantilly, VA.

The Systems Deployment Specialist must exhibit good judgment in interfacing with all government and contract personnel, providing proper examples of work performance, and adherence to professional standards and operational and security guidelines as defined by the Government and ManTech International, Inc.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs installation and support of workstation hardware and software solutions in both CONUS and OCONUS locations during site refreshes, relocations, new site builds, and emergency systems support situations. Emphasis will be focused on using Windows 10/11 OS and peripheral device management (printers, scanners, biometric devices, etc.). After-hours and weekend support will be required as tasked to support overseas or domestic deployment tasks.
  • Performs QA testing as tasked and document testing results in the testing plans. Works with contract teams, end users, developers, and other parties to support Customer products throughout the product’s life cycle.
  • Analyze, isolate, and troubleshoot unclassified computer hardware and software problems.
  • Maintain records of workflow, image creation and storage of digital files. Efforts include preparing and/or reviewing deployment documentation (e.g., installation manuals, training manuals, trip reports, etc.) and preparation or support of test plans will be assigned as part of deployment projects.
  • Train site personnel in proper use of hardware and software solutions.
  • Provide daily status reporting to management and to the customer while engaged in a deployment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or Business Administration or a Bachelor’s in management information sciences. Work experience and/or industry certifications demonstrating technical proficiency may be substituted for education requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making.
  • Experience in Desktop Support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Productivity applications.
  • Must be able to travel up to 75% internationally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One or more technical certifications (Comp TIA ITF+, A+, Network+, Security+, CTT+, MS MCT, MS Endpoint Administrator, etc.) highly preferred.
  • Experience training end users on complex hardware and software solutions.
  • Knowledge of relational databases, Oracle, SQL, SQL queries
  • Experience performing scripting (JavaScript, VB Script, Python, LUA, etc.).
  • A current and active Secret clearance is strongly preferred.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain Secret clearance prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in stationary position for up to 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to physically lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to perform installation work in constrained spaces like under work desks, in small cubicles, and network/server rooms.
    • Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication both verbally and non-verbally to deliver updates; briefings; or interface with co-workers; leadership as well as customer.
    • Must be able to work in an office environment and be able to freely move within this space to utilize office equipment as well as interface with co-workers and customer.
    • Must be able to effectively use IT devices/peripherals such as laptop, desktop, printer, etc.
    • Must be able to deliver presentations as needed.
    • Must be able to review; decipher and understand program manuals; software/hardware manuals; training manuals; etc.
