Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The Systems Architect supports the design of enterprise-class systems across multiple environments. They identify, propose, and present current and emerging technology concepts. They conduct design workshops with multiple stakeholders. They develop strategic visionary plans for architecture, engineering, and integration. They identify risks and develop impact analysis to technology, business objectives, and schedule. They design and oversee the implementation and maintenance of service catalog and service level procedures. They propose visionary guidance supporting the growth of mission capability. The Systems Architect supervises and mentors subordinate project.
Basic Qualifications:
High School and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree
A candidate holding a relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.
Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline and 7 years of position specific relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in an IT-related discipline. Experience with MBSE tools and methodologies. Relevant industry standard certifications. Experience working with Agile methodologies (SAFe, Kanban, etc..)
TS/SCI security clearance w/ Polygraph preferred.
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen
Must have a current/active TS/SCI
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
