ManTech is seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented System Administrator to join our team in the Southern Florida area. This position will be located in Doral, FL.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintains, configures, and ensures the reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.
Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues.
Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgraded IT infrastructure.
Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
Support desktop and helpdesk support efforts, ensuring all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance, and monitoring and managing all installed systems and infrastructure.
Basic Qualifications:
4+ years of position-specific relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree in IT or related discipline.; High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of additional experience may be used in lieu of required degree.
DoD 8570.01-m- IAT Level II Certification must be obtained within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Systems Administration or Engineering.
Relevant industry standard certifications such as Microsoft, Red Hat Linux, AWS, or VMWare.
Experience with scripting languages and automation tools such as Ansible, Salt or Puppet.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active/current Secret security clearance.
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.”
