Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Administrator to join our team in the Ft. Meade, MD area. In this role, you will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems and manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
Minimum Qualifications:
Shall have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Additional five (5) years of additional related experience may be substituted for a degree.
IAT II certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of start date.
Knowledge of Operating Systems to include Win 10 and Win 11
General security patching knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
RedHat certification
DTA knowledge
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 70% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
