Description & Requirements
ManTech is currently looking for System Administrators with ServiceNow (SNOW) experience to join our team in the Ft. Meade, MD area. In this role, you will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems as well as manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
Configure and manage Linux and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Provide assistance with the development of custom code for unique requirements associated with the project and will be responsible for the administering the SNOW environment to add/delete users
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or 4 years of additional related experience may be substituted for a degree
7+ years of related experience
Experience with Linux systems
Experience with VMWare
Experience with Implementation and management of a SNOW installation on an enclave and support development of SNOW workflows in support of specific mission functions.
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of related experience
Clearance Requirements:
Must have current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
