MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Supply Clerk to join our Logistics team in Erbil, Iraq. The selected candidate will provide logistics support to the Supply Support Activity (SSA) on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Receive, inspect, inventory, load/unload, store, and issue supplies and equipment, ensuring strict accountability of all items.

  • Monitor stock levels by conducting regular physical and cycle counts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and assisting with audits.

  • Receive incoming shipments, verify accuracy and condition of goods, and prepare outgoing shipments with appropriate packaging and labeling.

  • Serve as a liaison between internal departments (e.g., warehouse floor, GCSS-Army cell, and supervisors) and external stakeholders (e.g., suppliers, customers) to provide updates and assist in resolving issues.

  • Communicate shipping issues, delays, or inventory discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Safely operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including forklifts and pallet jacks.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe supply area or warehouse section.

  • Provide professional customer support to supported units, resolving issues related to supply disruptions and ensuring all requirements are met in a timely manner.

  • Collect, label, store, manage, and control hazardous materials (HAZMAT) as required.

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • 3+ years of experience in a supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations role, preferably in a military or government environment.

  • Proficient in computer operations and the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.

  • Familiar with military supply systems (e.g., GCSS-Army).

  • Experience in receipt, accountability, and inventory of equipment and spare parts.

  • Experience in inventory management, requisitioning supplies, and maintaining stock of supplies and equipment.

  • Experience operating various Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including 2K–30K forklifts.

  • Ability to meet government deployment physical requirements.

  • Must hold a current and active passport with a minimum of one year of validity from the start date and successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.

  • High School Diploma or GED and a valid Driver’s License are required.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Familiarity with military or commercial logistics supply systems, as well as automated and manual supply systems and equipment serviceability standards and criteria.

  • Prior military experience, or civilian equivalent, aligned with the following specialties:

    • 92A – Automated Logistics Specialist

    • 92Y – Unit Supply Specialist

  • Possession of applicable HAZMAT certifications (e.g., OSHA HAZWOPER 24- or 40-hour, DOT HAZMAT Training).

  • Willingness to travel to various U.S. and OCONUS locations.

Clearance Requirements: 

  • Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to push, pull, and reach.

  • Must be able to work in high noise areas.

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.

  • Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard for long periods of time.
