ManTech seeks a motivated, mission-focused Software Test Engineer to join our team in Hanover, MD. As part of a dynamic team, you will support software development initiatives for a mission-critical organization within the Intelligence Community, focused on secure and reliable data dissemination.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Analyze source code using automated Software Assurance (SwA) tools and collaborate with team members on assessment results.
Develop and execute test methodologies, scoring criteria, and test cases to support SwA tool analysis.
Perform software testing and interface with clients to recommend effective remediation strategies.
Create technical documentation and comprehensive test reports.
Utilize, fine-tune, and evaluate the suitability of SwA tools for specific customer environments.
Interpret SwA tool results to detect vulnerabilities and drive secure coding practices.
Research and assess emerging SwA tools and methodologies to enhance software security analysis.
Minimum Qualifications
12 years of experience in systems security engineering, software programming, or computer science; OR 8 years of experience with a Master’s Degree.
Hands-on programming experience in Java, C/C++, or C#.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with some or all of the following programming languages:

Experience with some or all of the following technologies:

Fortran-Lint

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Physical Requirements
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Constant operation of a computer and other standard office equipment such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer.
Frequent communication with co-workers, management, and customers; may involve delivering presentations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $125,500.00-$210,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
