MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Developer to join our team in Lexington Park, MD. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing systems engineering support of weapons systems on various platforms throughout the full acquisition process and lifecycle of a program.

• Researching, designing, and developing computer and network software or specialized utility programs.

• Analyzing user needs and developing software solutions, by applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.

• Updating software or enhancing existing software capabilities.

• Collaborating with hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, as well as develop specifications and performance requirements.

• Maintaining databases within an application area, working independently or as part of a development team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT discipline from an accredited college or university

• 3+ years of relevant software development experience

• Must have proficient understanding of Agile S/W development

Preferred Qualifications:

• Senior Computer Network Architecture background is preferred

• Experience developing and/or updating software associated with Navy weapons or software of associated systems

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have an active Secret security clearance

Physical Requirements:

• Tasking is primarily computer based. The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC.

• Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods (e.g. TEAMS).
