MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Developer to join our team in Lexington Park, MD. This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Providing systems engineering support of weapons systems on various platforms throughout the full acquisition process and lifecycle of a program.
Researching, designing, and developing computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
Analyzing user needs and developing software solutions, by applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
Updating software or enhancing existing software capabilities.
Collaborating with hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, as well as develop specifications and performance requirements.
Maintaining databases within an application area, working independently or as part of a development team.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT discipline from an accredited college or university
3+ years of relevant software development experience
Must have proficient understanding of Agile S/W development
Preferred Qualifications:
Senior Computer Network Architecture background is preferred
Experience developing and/or updating software associated with Navy weapons or software of associated systems
Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active Secret security clearance
Physical Requirements:
Tasking is primarily computer based. The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC.
Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods (e.g. TEAMS).
The projected compensation range for this position is $102,200.00-$169,500.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
