Description & Requirements

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Developer III to join our team in Fort Meade, MD.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Designing, engineering, analyzing, and developing software systems and software delivery processes, including development and operations (DevOps) pipelines.
  • Modeling and analyzing software development and deployment processes and assisting projects in tailoring Agile development and delivery techniques.
  • Engaging with Government leaders in defining the context, problem space, and vision to determine capabilities, priorities, roadmaps, transformation plans, and next steps.
  • Developing Agile processes, plans, and architectures to support software development, analysis, and operations.
  • Supervising and mentoring subordinate project and ICON Innovation Collaborative(IIC) staff.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years of position-specific relevant experience and nine (9) years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT or related discipline.
  • Experienced in directing all aspects of IT application development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Development or related discipline.
  • DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level-II Certification within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order.
  • Experience in an Agile development environment.
  • Relevant industry standard certifications.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current TS/SCI with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI with Poly.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
