MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Ship Logistics Analyst to join our team in San Diego, CA. This is an onsite position.  

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide supply material logistics support services for Nuclear Aircraft Carrier (CVN) and timely and accurate status updates to the Managers.
  • Assist in screening work items to repair activities.
  • Coordinates inbound and outbound logistical operations including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products.
  • Administers an effective system that meets the organization's inventory control needs through efficient transportation of raw materials, component parts and/or finished goods.
  • Manage and resolve CVN material obsolescence and industrial plant material programs utilizing Navy Supply programs and tools.
  • Perform investment material procurement, with applicable systems and tools.  
  • Provide Intergrade Logistics Services (ILS) expert level analysis, to include identification of disparate configuration data sets and recommendations related to ILS readiness and issues/concerns.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in (CVN) maintenance programs to include Military Sealift Command (MSC) operations, resolving CVN material obsolescence and industrial plant material programs. Experience must include CVN configuration management functions and processing of CVN Work
  • Center standardization, validation of equipment configuration and identification of all support products
  • 5+ years of experience in tandem, conducting CVN technical library management functions, to include complete inventory, data reconciliation, requisitioning, documenting, disposal, and reporting efforts
  • Experience with current CVN technical library inventory management and procurement information systems
  • Experience in supply logistics functions, including Navy wholesale and retail material management
  • Experience with Microsoft Programs

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience performing Commander, Naval Air Force Pacific (CNAP) N432 investment material procurement, with applicable systems and tools, as well as associated financial applications, budget reporting and financial ledger process experience.
  • Willingness to travel OCONUS and CONUS if necessary, min 10%.

 

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current and active Secret Security Clearance

 

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift and carry 50 lbs
  • Climb and descend stairs.
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations

The projected compensation range for this position is $62,500.00-$103,300.00.
