MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Voice & Communication Technician to join our team in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Leads the operation and maintenance efforts for audiovisual technologies.
• Responsible for developing and implementing plans for the troubleshooting, repair, and upgrade of AV system equipment.
• Interfaces with users, technology vendors, and stakeholders to ensure quality and user experience expectations are exceeded, and emergent industry best practices are routinely considered.
• Provides direction and mentorship to subordinate staff.
   

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma
• 7+ years of experience with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• A candidate holding a relevant bachelor’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education.
• Experience in the service or installation of audio, video, and/or audiovisual presentation systems and IT/networks.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order.
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with military/diplomatic operations working within a J-6/G-6/S-6 Directorate or with Special Operations Forces (SOF) or the Department of State (DoS) facilitating user access to and use of video display and conferencing across multiple commands and agencies.
• Technical and maintenance skills to perform audiovisual troubleshooting. In-depth understanding of broadcast and video, multimedia, video teleconferencing systems, video and audio streaming technologies and standards.
• Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
   

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have an active Secret clearance.
   

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
