ManTech seeks a motivated, career-driven, and customer-focused Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in Columbia, MD. You will play a critical role in supporting the enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global, mission-focused workforce. This position supports the high-visibility Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) organization, responsible for the delivery and security of MPO’s Enterprise Information Technology (EIT)—the foundation for enterprise-wide services. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will work alongside customers, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and vendors to support the implementation and compliance of advanced EIT capabilities through Data Center & Compute Services.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Analyzes user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements, and provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements into ongoing operations.
Leads design and development activities for mission critical hardware solutions utilizing various design tools such as: Brave, Visio, JavaScript, Object Notation (JSON), and macro enabled spreadsheets.
Ensure new technologies can be integrated with existing systems and plan for future requirements, refreshes, replacements, and upgrades.
Coordinate meetings with vendors, manufactures, network, server, and sustainment personnel to develop engineering management plans such as: rack elevations, floor plans, network designs, system integration, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience OR associate’s degree with 15 years of relevant experience OR high school diploma/GED with 20 years of relevant experience.
Experience working with customers at various levels.
Experience with developing and gathering mission critical requirements and designing optimal enterprise solutions.
Experience with the Brave design tool, Visio, JavaScript, Object Notation (JSON), and macro enabled spreadsheets.
Experience with developing design documentation such as: rack elevations, floor plans, network design, and power/space/cooling requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Vendors and Manufacturers.
Experience leading the various refresh, replacement, and upgrade efforts.
Clearance Requirements:
Must possess and maintain a current/active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, including delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
The projected compensation range for this position is $162,600.00-$289,500.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
