ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer, Senior to join our team in the Lexington Park, MD area. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide technical leadership to a team tasked with identifying, formulating, designing, and testing solutions to known system issues/problems

• Responsible for guiding the development of new and complex systems, employing system engineering methodologies and tools throughout the development phase

• Provide expertise to research, analyze, and develop tools and methods to integrate with modeling environments

• Conduct research in applied systems engineering as necessary in support of advancing the field

• This position may require travel within the United States (less than 10%)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master of Arts or Master of Science degree in a Technical or Scientific area is required, OR a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in a Technical or Scientific area, PLUS an additional 4 years of recent and relevant experience, for a total of fourteen 14 years of recent and relevant experience, may be substituted for a MA or MS degree

• 10+ years in tandem of recent and relevant experience in an area of engineering; 3 of those years MUST be directly related to DoD systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Engineering experience with Navy aviation systems

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen

• Top Secret clearance is required to perform work on this contract

Physical Requirements:

• Tasking is primarily computer based.  The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC.

• Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, Customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods (e.g. TEAMS, ZOOM).
