Description & Requirements

ManTech is seeking a Senior Software Evaluator/Engineer to join our team in Linthicum Heights, Maryland.  The position is part of a team that provides systems engineering in the Linthicum location and provides Cybersecurity Analysis and Cryptographic Engineering.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform independent software verification and validation.  This will involve line by line software source code review and/or tool based source code evaluation.

  • The evaluator/engineer will be responsible for matching source code to specification and design documentation and generating appropriate evaluation reports.

  • May work individually, or as part of a team, and may be required to serve as a team lead

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Computer Engineering and five years of experience or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Computer Engineering and three years of experience, or in lieu of a degree, a total of eight years of software development/evaluation experience

  • Designing, coding, and testing programmable devices and associated software

  • C/C++, Python

Preferred Qualification:

  • Java, RUST, Assembly

  • Experience with Type 1 cryptographic devices

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Current and active TS/SCI with polygraph


The projected compensation range for this position is $134,700.00-$224,700.00.
