Description & Requirements

Currently, ManTech is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Senior Project Manager (Technical – Oracle) that is responsible for supervising multiple, concurrent projects that are part of large-scale IT transformation and enterprise-wide IT process-improvement activities.

This is a partially remote position that will require 1 day a week at the client’s site in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides day-to-day management of all concurrent project activities under the task order.

  • Develops project management planning artifacts.

  • Works closely with National Programs team to identify and document issues, create action items, organize and conduct meetings, resolve.

  • Develops, updates, and manages various reports and measures for projects and programs.

  • Works closely with National Programs team to development and implement organization-wide IT Service Management process requirements.

  • Supervises database implementations.

  • Establishes and maintains overall project quality standards.

  • Leads service management delivery.

  • Manages and reports project schedule and performance.

  • Leads National Programs team configuration management.

  • Manages personnel staffing and other administrative functions to meet established performance objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant project management experience

  • Ability to be on-site in USACE Headquarters in Washington, DC multiple times a week

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline

  •  PMP Certification and/or PRINCE2 Certification

  • Understanding of Oracle Database 11g and 12c, Primavera P6 Professional and EPPM, ITIL V3, COBIT 5, software development life cycle, Agile development (SCRUM, adaptive software development, SAFe 4.5), and design thinking methodologies

  • Extensive knowledge of IT-focused project management practices.

  • Experience in executing modernization and data migration strategies.

  • Experience in Department of Defense and Army Cybersecurity initiatives with an emphasis on securing the enterprise and Risk Management Framework (RMF) functions.

  • Experience in managing IT operations and maintenance of enterprise grade web-based applications, databases, and data warehouses.

  • Experience in leading IT engineering teams using a variety of virtualized and cloud-based environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner)

  • ITIL V3 Foundation Certification

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Current/Active Secret Security Clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations


The projected compensation range for this position is $143,600.00-$239,300.00.
