ManTech seeks a motivated and knowledgeable Senior Program Manager to join our team in Washington D.C. This position is onsite.

This role will manage a program that delivers cloud, cybersecurity, business analytics, program analytics, SharePoint, communications, and UI design support services. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the overall program success. Set priorities, develop work schedules, monitor, and report progress towards goals, and track details and activities.

  • Identify and define resources and schedule for project/program implementation. Ensure that staffing plan and team competencies meet mission detection, response, and support requirements.

  • Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.

  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.

  • Works closely with all teams to identify and document issues, create action items, organize and conduct meetings, and resolve issues.

  • Responsible for managing the program’s financials to include budget, forecast, profitability and provides weekly reporting.

  • Responsible for identifying and implementing continuous improvements, or enhancements to achieve cost savings, cost avoidance or improvements to meet customer and mission goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related field.

  • 12+ years of IT experience.

  • 5+ years of experience managing large programs with a minimum of 70 FTEs for the Federal government. 

  • 5+ years experience managing programs requirements analysis, systems engineering/development, O&M, cloud, and research and evaluation for new or emerging technologies and using Agile methods.

  • Hands on experience using Earned Value Management (EVM). 

  • Microsoft Office experience, including Microsoft Project.

  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess an Agile practitioner certification

  • Jira Project Management experience.

  • Experience in implementing feedback, performing corrective actions and focus on continuous improvement to ensure program success.

  • Experience managing teams located in different geographic locations.  

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Top Secret Security Clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.


The projected compensation range for this position is $134,500.00-$209,200.00.
