ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Program Executive to join our team in Ashburn, VA, supporting Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Point of contact for senior client organization for performance, compliance, and contractual matters
Oversee the program and processes to include quality, project planning, timelines, monitoring, and control
Meets with customer personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items to ensure conformance with program task schedules, deliverables, and costs
Lead the management and execution of large-scale software development and sustainment effort(s) similar in scope and complexity to the DHS requirement. Experience shall include contract support for an organization comparable to 200-400 Full-Time-Equivalent (FTEs)
Lead teams of support personnel at multiple locations
Works closely with other program leaders, such as the Chief Engineer/Architect, to eliminate roadblocks to technical performance
Provide regular program status and innovative issue resolution to complex contract requirements, program operations and subcontract management
Travel required up to 30%
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in relevant field (i.e. Information Technology, Management, Business)
10+ years Program Management and Leadership experience on large scale IT/System development, operations, and maintenance contracts in the Federal Government
5+ Years of Experience applied to management and integration of complex computer systems and programs, IT Project Management, and requirements definition for complex computer system projects within DHS.
Experience within DHS CBP in support of Field Operations managing requirements development, cross-organizational collaboration, and implementation of complex IT projects and/or Programs, highly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
A DAWIA Level III Program Management, FAC-P/PM Senior Level, or Project Management Professional® (PMP®) certification
Knowledge of incident response procedures
Clearance Requirements:
US Citizenship required with ability to obtain and maintain DHS suitability
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
