Description & Requirements

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Power Platform Software Engineer to join our team.  This is a full-time, 100% remote opportunity.

Responsibilities :

  • Designs software components, units, and modules that meet product specification and development schedules for customers.

  • Codes software components, units, and modules that meet product specification and development schedules for customers.

  • Adheres to product build and release schedules and strategies.

  • Tests and debugs complex software components and units.

  • Acts as a technical resource for lower-level developers and may be assigned lead developer role for small-to-medium sized projects.

  • Influences client satisfaction for project stakeholders.

  • Implements quality assurance for project deliverables.

  • Creates quality deliverables for customers.

  • Implements life-cycle of services/solution delivery for projects.

  • Collaborates and provides influence to team on project deliverables.

  • Provides product demonstrations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant professional software development experience

  • Proficiency in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse)

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, or Business

  • Proficiency in Power Apps:  Model-driven apps, Canvas apps with Dataverse, Working with large datasets, Export Galleries, PowerFx, Role-based security, Form design and trigger flows

  • Proficiency in Power Automate:  Integration with Power Apps and Dataverse, Multilevel Approvals, Data Manipulation, Expressions and Functions, Flow Design (actions, conditions, loops and triggers)

  • Proficiency with Dataverse:  Data Modeling, Creation, Lookup and Choice columns, Dataflows

  • Proficiency with DataBricks (Azure/AWS):  Data manipulation (ETL) with Dataverse

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Department of the Air Force customers

  • Experience supporting DoD or other federal agencies

  • Experience working in an Agile team

  • Experience with Power BI

  • Experience with Python

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • US Citizenship with ability to obtain a secret level clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.


The projected compensation range for this position is $141,100.00-$234,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.  In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.  ManTech’s benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, Short Term and Long Term Disability, Retirement and Savings, Learning and Development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections.
