ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Operations Planner to join our team in Doral, FL.
 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serves as a subject matter expert, responsible for developing and maintaining the organization's operations plan, ensuring essential functions continue during disruptions

  • Conduct operational impact analyses and risk assessments to identify critical processes and vulnerabilities, subsequently developing comprehensive recovery strategies

  • Plan and execute operations planning exercises and training, evaluating their effectiveness and delivering necessary education to staff

  • Integrate IT disaster recovery and Business Continuity Plans into the overall COOP strategy, ensuring technological resilience

  • Expertise ensures the organization's ability to maintain operations during emergencies

  • Provides direction and mentorship to subordinate staff

  • Travel required 30% of the time as directed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field or 4 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required bachelor’s degree

  • 9+ years of relevant operations planning experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in continuity planning, demonstrating a thorough understanding of Federal continuity directives and risk assessment methodologies.

  • Proven experience in developing and executing COOP exercises, along with strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively coordinate with diverse stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications:

  • A master’s degree in emergency management, computer science, information technology, or a related field.

  • Experience within a Federal government IT enterprise and familiarity with cloud-based continuity solutions.

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or Certified Emergency Manager (CEM).

  • Experience within DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.

  • Graduate of a military Intermediate Level School, Top Level School, and or a school trained planner school (e.g., SAW, MAWS, JAWS, WTI)

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
