ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Automation Architect in South Burlington, VT or Camp Springs, MD.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Implement automation tools and frameworks, create documentation supporting automation processes and tools
  • Evaluate, implement and streamline DevOps practices and design and implement the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline throughout USCIS-controlled on premise locations.
  • Provide guidance for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
  • Work with Product owner and team to understand processes and identify areas of automation for improvement. Design and implement automation in the build process for on-prem and cloud instances
  • Mentor and provide guidance and support to engineer teams with automation improvements, troubleshooting, and capabilities. Encourage and build automated processes when possible
  • Collaborate and cross coordinate with other teams to encourage utilization of automation processes and techniques
  • Use Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence and MS Teams to provide transparency and allow information to be visible in real time and to create a unified backlog ensuring visibility into all areas of work and identifying inter-dependencies between teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of experience in network engineering.
  • Possess working knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.)as well as Automation Testing process utilizing code and best practice tools.
  • Strong experience in operating environment and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Perl, etc.)
  • Familiarity with ITIL, DevSecOps, API Integration and Agile concepts.
  • Experience configuring Cisco IOS/NXOS, Meraki, and Juniper. Experience handling automated deployment CI/CD tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Familiar with tools including: ServiceNow, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Ansible Automation Platform
  • Experience with ITIL, DevSecOps and Agile concepts
  • Experience supporting Government contracts

Clearance Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain Public Trust and complete DHS Security Clearance
  • Ability to obtain DHS EOD suitability

Physical Requirements:

  • Office work, typically sedentary with some movement around the office.

The projected compensation range for this position is $126,300.00-$210,300.00.
