ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Model-Based Systems Engineer to join our team in Lexington Park, MD. This position is onsite.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems

  • Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation

  • Applies systems engineering experience to perform system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management

  • Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems, or management information systems

  • Travel up to 25%

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or an Engineering related discipline

  • 10+ years of Systems Engineering experience

  • 3+ years in tandem, of experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering principles and tools

  • Experience using MBSE Tools, such as Cameo System Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, and Cameo Collaborator

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience with NAVAIR Systems Engineering experience   

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active or current Top-Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SCI eligibility

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.


The projected compensation range for this position is $162,600.00-$289,500.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.  In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.  ManTech’s benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, Short Term and Long Term Disability, Retirement and Savings, Learning and Development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections.
