ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Master Scheduler to join our team in Doral, FL.  This is on-site, five days a week.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provides expertise in scheduling by developing and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the organization

  • Analyze forecasts of customer needs, capacity to provide deliverables, and resources to ensure deadlines are met and costs are contained to the maximum extent possible

  • Work closely with various functional teams such as Software Development, Procurement, and Enterprise Services to coordinate activities and ensure smooth execution of the production schedule

  • Monitor and report on the status of events scheduled and adjust as necessary to meet changing demand or capacity constraints

  • Provides direction and mentorship to subordinate staff

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, engineering, operations management, or related field or 4 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required bachelor’s degree

  • 9+ years of relevant experience or 5+ years of position-specific relevant experience with a deep understanding of scheduling methodologies, critical path analysis, resource leveling, and risk management.

  • Proficient in MS Project or other project management software.

  • Mastery of multiple project management software tools, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and potentially specialized scheduling software to support development of complex schedules, analyze project data, and generate reports.

  • Experienced in analyzing project data, identifying potential issues, and developing solutions.

  • Capable of anticipating and mitigating risks that could impact the schedule.

  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Certified Scheduling Technician (CST) or equivalent.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in project management, Operations Management, or a related field.

  • Experience supporting IT projects.

  • PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), Certified Scheduling Professional (PSP), Project Management Professional (PMP).

  • Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an active Interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
