MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Maintenance Supervisor to join our vehicle sustainment team in Waldmohr, Germany.
The selected candidate will provide maintenance and logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.
*Important Note*: Selected candidates require favorable completion and receipt of Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA) from the German Lander. TESA Approval Organization. Any stated date is an approximate projection based upon the eleven (11) week TESA review cycle.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Works on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.
Oversees the efforts of less senior staff and responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific Task Order.
Plans, directs, or coordinates the engineering and maintenance operations of the contract.
Formulates policies, managing daily maintenance and supply operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources.
Manages multiple and diverse maintenance sites.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of qualified experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field (OR) 10+ years of experience. 1 year college accepted in lieu of 1.5 years' experience.
Proven maintenance, repair and technical experience and background in industrial manufacturing, commercial maintenance or military operations or maintenance.
Mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills to diagnose, align, and repair failed and damaged systems.
Proven communicator in verbal and written disciplines and the ability to provide formal, over-the-shoulder, and on-the-spot training to contractor and unit personnel.
Experience with office productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
Must possess a Valid Driver’s License for the location in which the work will be performed as well as a High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience and training knowledge for ADR European Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road
EUCOM Theatre knowledge of ADR process for kitting and certification agreement for Fuel & Ammo assets.
Experience in managing maintenance & logistic operations in EUCOM Theatre.
Knowledge of guidelines and standards detailed in AER-750-1 & AER 55-4
Prior training or maintenance experience with one or more of the following: tactical and commercial wheeled vehicles, tracked vehicles, power generators sets or construction equipment.
Prior training or experience with Global Combat Support System -Army (GCSS-A) logistics management system
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen and have a current/active Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
Must be able to work in high noise areas.
Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.
Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
