MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior LogiCole Technical Project Manager to join our team in Fort Detrick, Maryland. This is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Expanded telework options may be available for exceptional candidates.
We are seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Sr. Technical Project Manager to support a pivotal Defense Health Agency (DHA) program within our Health Portfolio. This role serves as a senior member of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) team reporting to the Program Manager. The LogiCole Sr. Technical Project Manager is responsible for the lifecycle management of large, cloud-based, complex projects. The ideal candidate will have a technical acumen that allows them to guide technical discussions as well as a demonstrated history of successful project management and be an expert practitioner in MS Project for Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) management.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage large, cloud-based, complex projects with a focus on outcome-based results.
- Utilize Microsoft (MS) Project effectively for Integrated Master Schedule management.
- Apply project management expertise to optimize and integrate the disciplines in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Manage services in a cloud-hosted environment to ensure optimal performance and delivery.
- Implement and adhere to SAFe®/Agile, DevSecOps methodologies to ensure on-time delivery to production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and success in project objectives.
- Support and mentor team members to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least seven (7) years proven experience in managing large, complex, cloud-based projects with measurable outcomes. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT-related field.
- Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Project for IMS management.
- PMI-PMP or DAU Advanced (Level 2 or 3) Program Manager Certification.
- Hands-on experience with SAFe®/Agile, DevSecOps methodologies, with evidence of successful, on-time delivery to production.
- Demonstrated experience in risk management, scope management, and quality management.
- Proven experience leading and facilitating project team meetings to ensure proper planning, prioritization, and cross-team coordination. Ability to communicate up to Gov't leadership team with project updates, IMS walk-throughs, and scope definition/adjustments.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity and processes followed under the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and coordination with an external Cybersecurity team to support project Cyber requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with DoD Medical Logistics projects.
- An advanced degree and coursework in Computer programming, computer architecture and database management strongly desired.
- Strong leadership and communication skills. Experience in managing projects converting legacy systems to modern technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Jira configuration and/or reporting experience particularly in developing dashboards/reports for related metrics. General understanding of technologies used in large-scale, web-based applications.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and willing and able to obtain a Public Trust and undergo a Tier 3 investigation.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
- Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $150,800.00-$270,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
