ManTech seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Hardware Asset Specialist to join our team in Doral, FL.
 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • The Senior Hardware Asset Specialist provides site-specific property management as vendors deliver to new sites, which includes tracking equipment onsite, accepting the site when complete, conducting inventory, and populating the asset management tracking system

  • They schedule and conduct annual inventory audits, as well as provide system deployment and maintenance services for mission-critical systems

  • This encompasses deployment planning, technical expertise, and coordinating field deployment activities

  • They manage the property program, including acquisition, receiving, transferring, excessing, reutilization, repairing, disposing, and retiring of various types of property

  • They also monitor equipment status, determine maintenance requirements, and recommend maintenance priorities, while providing a full range of supervisory functions for a staff who provides a diverse range of mission support services

  • Finally, they prepare Inventory Status Reports for leadership and other ad-hoc reports

  • The Senior Hardware Asset Specialist provides direction and mentorship to subordinate staff

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in field necessary to assume Hardware Asset Specialist duties or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.

  • 9+ years of expeirence with 5+ years of relevant Hardware Asset Specialist experience.

  • Experience with asset management tracking systems/software.

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Federal acquisition logistics practices and acquisition logistics management standard requirements.

  • Demonstrated experience preparing Inventory Status Reports, performing auditing procedures, and managing and maintaining accurate records. Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS), Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP), IT Asset Management (ITAM), or certifications related to specific asset management software.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, or a related field. Experience with Integrated Logistics Support System (ILSS IBM MAXIMO) and System Applications and Products (SAP). Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Project, and/or SharePoint. DAWIA Level II or III Logistics Certification (or equivalent training and experience). Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM). International Association of IT Asset Managers (IAITAM) certifications, Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or Project Management Professional (PMP). Certifications related to specific hardware vendors (e.g., Dell, HP, Cisco).

  • Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an active Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
