ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Graphic Artist to join our team in Stafford, VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leads the graphic design strategy and supports a team of Graphic Designers

  • Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders, including end users, graphics engineers, IT personnel, business owners, and the broader graphics design team

  • Design and develop a wide range of visual assets for training programs, including illustrations, icons, graphics, interactive e-learning modules, videos, animations, infographics, presentations, job aids, and performance support materials

  • Ensure visual consistency and brand adherence across all training materials

  • Maintain a library of graphic assets and templates for reuse

  • Partner with instructional designers and subject matter experts to understand learning objectives and content requirements

  • Provide creative consultation and recommendations on visual design strategies to optimize learning effectiveness

  • Incorporate audio, video, animation, and interactive elements into training materials and optimize multimedia assets for various delivery platforms (eg, web, mobile, LMS)

  • They contribute to the development of DoDAF (Department of Defense Architecture Framework) visualizations, creating clear and informative diagrams and models that effectively communicate architectural concepts and relationships

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of required bachelors degree.

  • 9+ years of relevant graphic artist experience with 5+ years of focu on training and developmenent or instructional design

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual design, illustration, and multimedia development. Proficient in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).

  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).

  • Familiarity with the DoDAF (Department of Defense Architecture Framework) and its visual representation standards. Experience creating architectural diagrams and models using DoDAF notation and conventions. Proficiency in graphic design tools that support DoDAF visualization (e.g., Visio, MagicDraw).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or a related field. Experience with video editing and animation software.

  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS). Experience working in a corporate training environment. Knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS).

  • Experience with cybersecurity-related projects (e.g., infographics on online safety, banners for security awareness campaigns).

  • Deep understanding of DoDAF viewpoints and their relationships. Experience in developing custom DoDAF visualizations to meet specific project needs. Ability to translate complex architectural concepts into clear and concise visual representations.

  • Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an active Interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
