MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Field Service Representative to join our vehicle sustainment team in Fort Irwin, CA. The selected candidate will provide maintenance and logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Technical support of complex U.S. military ground systems
Plans, directs, coordinates and manages the maintenance operations for assigned TDL organizations.
Maintenance support includes operations, system troubleshooting, engineering, design, installation, analysis, maintenance and repair of U.S. systems and subsystems to component level.
Effectively applies industry or military standard troubleshooting procedures to localize and isolate faulty system components.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
Experience on non-tactical/commercial vehicle fleets and/or military shall be with light or heavy-duty trucks, tractors, tactical vehicles, ground systems, generators, power plants, aircraft or any diesel or gasoline powered equipment or vehicle.
Experience in the application of industry or military standard troubleshooting procedures to localize and isolate faulty system components.
Proficient with a variety of hand tools, diagnostic tools, power tools, multi-meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and welding.
Experience in technical support of complex U.S. military ground systems.
Experience effectively applying industry or military standard troubleshooting procedures to localize and isolate faulty system components.
Must hold a current and active passport, ensuring a minimum of one year of validity from start date and the ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
High School Diploma or GED and must possess a Valid Driver’s License for the location in which the work will be performed.
Desired Qualifications:
Willingness to travel to various US or OCONUS locations.
Experience on HMMWV, FMTV, HEMTT, PLS, Trailers, and Power Generation Equipment.
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting this position.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
Must be able to work in high noise areas.
Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.
Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
The projected compensation range for this position is $56,500.00-$95,000.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
