Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Engineer to join our team in the Patuxent River, MD area. This is an onsite  position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Applying engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems.
  • Will review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
  • Will perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
  • Will analyze, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems, or management information systems.
  • May present data during meetings and conferences.
  • Will provide tasking and supervision to lower-level employees on the program.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Master of Arts (BA) or Masters of Science (BS) degree in a Technical or Scientific area is required.  Technical degrees must be from an ABET accredited college or university in one of the following Engineering / Engineering Technology disciplines: Aerospace, Chemical/Process, Civil, Communications/Telecommunications, Computer, Cybersecurity, Electrical, Electromechanical, Engineering Management, Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Technology, Industrial, Information Engineering, General Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, Environmental, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials, Mechanical, Naval Architecture and Marine, Nuclear and Radiological, Software, or Systems.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience working in areas associated with engineering and/or systems engineering. Three (3) of which must be directly related to DoD systems.
  • Must have experience working in Microsoft products, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Must have experience working with one or more of the following: Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process, Engineering Data Requirements Agreement Plan (EDRAP, Airworthiness Qualification Plans (AQP), and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
  • This is an onsite position. Must be able to report to customer site five (5) days per week.
  • This position may require travel within the United States (less than 10%).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Navy aircraft or surface ship systems is highly desired.
  • Experience writing and executing ECPs is highly desired.
  • Use experience with NATIPS and NATOPS is highly desired.
  • Direct experience in one or more of the following is highly desired:
    • Test & Evaluation (T&E)
    • Validation, Verification & Analysis (V,V&A)
    • Configuration Management (CM)
    • System Integration
    • System Safety
    • Network Centric Warfare (NCW)

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • TS/SCI required

Physical Requirements:

  • Tasking is primarily computer based.  The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, Customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods (e.g. TEAMS).

The projected compensation range for this position is $110,800.00-$185,500.00.
