Description & Requirements
ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) Engineer to join our team in the Crane, IN area. This is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Performs a variety of complex engineering tasks of an analysis, design, or test nature in one or more of the company’s product/service areas requiring strong technical skills in one or more software and/or hardware engineering discipline
Plans, conducts, and may supervise research, development, or installation of products and systems in conformance with engineering design and customer specification
Participates on project teams and provides guidance to technical staff. Recognized as an expert within the company
Anticipates internal and or external business challenges, vendor and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product, or service improvements. Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business
Understands the DoD requirements process and budget cycle
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree, plus 10+ years of experience or in a related area
Demonstrated experience in program/project management support, earned value management, and schedule
Experience with Electromagnetic Support (ES), Electronic Attack (EA) and Electronic Protection (EP)
Experience in the UxS and Counter UxS and application to Naval missions both defensive and offensive
Understands the Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) gaps for DoD
Experience with Microsoft applications, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word
Preferred Qualifications:
Updating/maintaining project schedules using MS Project or other standard scheduling software
Knowledge of Modeling and simulation for mission engineering, wargaming and mission analysis and how it applies for today and future requirements
Understands the DoD requirements process and budget cycle
Strong organization and analytical skills with attention to detail
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active Secret clearance with Top Secret eligibility prior to starting position
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
