MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, Integration Cell to join our team in Doral, FL.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Leads the design, implementation, and maintenance of security controls, countermeasures, and processes for integrated systems within the Integration Cell, ensuring a comprehensive security posture.
Leads the implementation of updates, patches, and routine maintenance of integrated systems, contributing to the research and analysis of security solutions within the integrated environment.
Leads the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of a variety of security tools and technologies within the Integration Cell, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and DLP solutions, ensuring seamless integration and interoperability.
Leads the development and maintenance of security configurations for operating systems, applications, and network devices within the integrated environment; conducts comprehensive security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing; and develops/maintains security documentation.
Leads the monitoring of security alerts and events, triaging and analyzing them, leads incident response efforts (including forensic investigations and implementing preventative measures), and collaborates with other teams for recovery.
Contributes to the development and delivery of security awareness training programs, promotes a culture of security awareness, ensures integrated systems and processes are compliant with standards and regulations, leads security audits/assessments of integrated systems, and provides direction and mentorship to subordinate staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS in field necessary to assume Cybersecurity Engineer duties or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
9+ years of experience with 5+ years of relevant Cybersecurity Engineer experience.
Deep understanding of security architecture principles and frameworks (e.g., SABSA, NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
Extensive knowledge of network security, cloud security, endpoint security, data security, and application security.
Hands-on experience with a wide range of security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, etc.).
Strong understanding of security protocols and standards (e.g., TCP/IP, TLS, OAuth, SAML). Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell). 8570 IASAE certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
Relevant industry standard certifications such as Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure); Security certifications (Security+, CASP, CISSP); and tool certifications (Tenable Security Center Specialist, Tanium Certified Administrator, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator).
Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in stationary position for up to 50% of the time.
Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication verbally and via email, phone, and virtual communication platforms to interface with co-workers and customers.
Must be able to occasionally move about inside an office environment to access file cabinets, office machinery, and communicate with co-workers.
