ManTech seeks a seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Sr. Cloud and Platform Monitoring Project Manager to join our team in Stennis, MS. 

The NOSC Cloud and Platform Manager oversees the implementation and optimization of cloud and platform monitoring solutions to ensure the security, availability, and performance of mission-critical systems. They coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and align monitoring capabilities with cybersecurity and operational requirements.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Work closely with the PMO team to maintain visibility of all tasks and projects; Provide updates on network, security and cloud operation policies, SOPs, and Best Practices to the PMO team. Identify requirements, manage risks, define scope, objectives, schedule, and deliverables within the network, security and cloud operations environment. Coordinate and lead project activities and stakeholders to support the project schedule to meet requirements. Create work packages tied to milestones  
  • Identify dependencies, and schedule work: Ensure tasks are assigned and completed on time; Track and report on project milestones and deliverables  
  • Analyze existing business applications and Cloud platform technical requirements to ensure that functional, technical, and application migration changes adhere to global technology standard 
  • Vendor Management: Coordination with cloud providers, brokers, and others for  procurement, installation and maintenance of network, security, and cloud systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements  
  • Documentation and Reporting: Support the development of briefings and presentations for customers to track project(s) status, performance, and risks.  
  • Change Management: Manage change requests related to network, security, and cloud operations; attend change management meetings and briefings and brief projects as applicable; assess the impact of changes on the project; Utilizing Change Control Boards (CCBs) to manage and control any project-related changes, ensuring effective and efficient project delivery; ensuring quality checks to adhere to quality standards 
  • Manage change requests for all cloud migration activities, coordinating with configuration management following DHS Change Request processes and tracks all events associated with those activities in order to maximize systems availability, avoid errors, and improve efficiencies.  

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 9 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information security, or a related field of study or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of related experience in supporting geographically dispersed enterprise operations teams 
  • PMP certification 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills with all levels of management and cross-functional team leadership and coordination 
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications including SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word  

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master's degree 
  • DHS and/or DOD experience 
  • ServiceNow experience 
  • Agile Scrum Master experience 
  • Jira experience 

Clearance Requirements:  

  • Must have a current/active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD suitability is required prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to work in an office environment and maneuver in data center and other IT equipment installation locations.  
  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
