ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Business Manager to join our team in Stafford, VA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Runs all business operations and sets and tracks goals across teams
Lead all business-related aspects of operations, including hiring new employees, managing budgets, and general business functions
Respomd to Government questions, concerns, and comments within established deadlines, and proactively alert the Government to potential contractual or programmatic issues
Principal point of contact for AAS Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables, programmatic issues, and concerns
Oversee onboarding, budget management, and general day-to-day business operations
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, or related field or 4 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree
9+ years of relevant Business Manager experience.
Proven experience in budget management, human resources, general business functions, and Government contracting.
The ability to lead teams, set and track goals, onboard new employees, and perform day-to-day business functions.
Ability to respond to Government inquiries, address contractual and programmatic issues, and manage deliverables. Experience in hiring, supervising, and mentoring project teams and subordinate staff members.
Desired Qualifications:
2+ years of experience on AAS/FEDSIM Programs.
Master’s degree in business administration (MBA), Project Management, or related field.
Experience with specific industry, domain related to the contract, and Government agency regulations and processes.
Experience implementing process improvements and using data analytics to drive business decisions.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Certified Government Contracting Manager (CGCM). Certification, experience, training with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management; ISO 22301:2019 Business Continuity Management; and ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management.
Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active Interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
