Description & Requirements

ManTech is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Scheduler III in Ft. Meade, MD.   

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • The Scheduler III analyzes and monitors project schedules to ensure timely completion.  

  • They work across departments and collaborate with project managers to determine the feasibility of project schedules.  

  • They also identify potential risks and delays and provide recommendations for adjustments to keep projects on track.  

  • Works proactively to keep projects running on time with minimal delays.  

  • Supervises and mentors subordinate project and ICON Innovation Collaborative (IIC) staff.  
     

Basic qualifications: 

  • Five (5) years of position specific relevant experience.   

  • Expert with scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project.  
     

Preferred qualifications:  

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.  

  • Experience in project management and scheduling.  

 

Security clearance requirement: 

  • Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and/or maintain a polygraph.   

 

Physical requirements: 

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time 

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel 

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
