ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Architect to join our team. This is a remote opportunity. 

The Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Architect is a strategic advisor and Salesforce platform expert responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performing Salesforce solutions for government and public sector clients. This role ensures seamless integration between Salesforce and enterprise systems, defines best practices, and guides clients through complex digital transformations while adhering to public sector specific security and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities include but not limited to::  

  • Collaborate with government partners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to understand requirements and architect comprehensive Salesforce solutions.
  • Lead the architectural design of Salesforce implementations, ensuring adherence to best practices, technical excellence, and public sector regulations (e.g., FedRAMP, DoD Impact Levels).
  • Define and enforce governance policies, security best practices, and scalability principles for public sector Salesforce environments.
  • Provide guidance on Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flows, and other Salesforce development best practices with an emphasis on low-code methodologies.
  • Implement automation strategies, including CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and testing frameworks for Salesforce applications in a public sector context.
  • Assist with solutioning and estimating work efforts for large public sector programs, including cloud platform implementations, custom development, integrations, and data migration.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years of experience designing and implementing scalable, high-performing Salesforce solutions. 
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Public Sector Solutions and Government Cloud offerings.
  • Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Public Sector Solutions Accredited Professional, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified System Architect, Salesforce Certified Technical Architect).
  • Proficiency in integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems via REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, ETL tools, or event-driven architecture.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Salesforce DX.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and enforce governance policies, security best practices, and scalability principles in a public sector context.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including C-suite executives.
  • Proven experience working with public sector clients and understanding their unique challenges and regulatory landscape.
  • Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience leading a Salesforce technical team in an enterprise public sector environment.
  • Experience in owning a technical roadmap and evaluating emerging technologies relevant to government.
  • Familiarity with Agile implementation methodologies in government projects.

Security Clearance Requirements: 

  • US citizenship with an active Secret clearance. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

  


The projected compensation range for this position is $145,300.00-$257,800.00.
