Description & Requirements
ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented SQL Database Administrator to join our team working in Crane, IN. This is a hybrid position, 3 days onsite, and 2 days remote.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide SQL infrastructure engineering to include database architecture maintenance, database upgrades, server configurations, and application configurations.
Install, configure, and manage multiple SQL server environments with high availability and disaster recovery, to include monitoring, analysis, reporting, and data warehouse services and solutions.
Architect and design the configuration and operation of SQL platforms on NMCI environments.
Ensure proper integration of SQL with applications to include but not limited to SharePoint, TMT, and Desktop Alert System.
Provide best practice recommendations related to maintenance procedures, application integration procedures, and design of the overall infrastructure on all NMCI domains.
Operate and maintain the front and back-end SharePoint infrastructure and perform incident management.
Understand and implement compliance standards for SQL databases and host machines.
Maintain situational awareness of new patches, issues, and products relevant to the database versions in use.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent education
7+ years of experience working with the configuration, deployment, operation, and maintenance of databases
Must have prior experience utilizing SQL
Must possess CASP+, CISSP, or an equivalent DoD 8570.01 baseline IAT-3 certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with DoD environments
Experience implementing data security and hardening (groups, roles, privileges, authentication, TDE, and auditing)
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
