ManTech seeks a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Systems Engineer to join our team in the Ft. Meade, MD area

In this role you will be responsible for analyzing user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. You will be responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with Systems Engineering.
 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities.
• Guide users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
• Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Develop system architecture and system design documentation while guiding system development, testing, and implementation.
• Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
   

Basic Qualifications:

• 14 years of experience in a technical field related to Systems Engineering and/or Signals Intelligence
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, information sciences or engineering; or 5 years or additional experience in lieu of degree,
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with intelligence community compliance
• Experience with task tracking and documentation software (e.g., Confluence and JIRA).
• Management, creation and execution of systems engineering plans (functional and technical), capabilities documents, requirements documentation and interface control documentation
• Coordination and resolution of action items from Agile Scrums, Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination
• Experience with capabilities design and evaluation, systems budgeting, physical architectures and developing systems evaluation criteria
• Experience reviewing and providing input to program and contract work breakdown structure (WBS), work packages and the integrated master plan (IMP)
• Deriving lower-level requirements from higher-level allocated requirements that describe in detail the functions that a system component must fulfill, and ensure these requirements are complete, correct, unique, unambiguous, realizable, and verifiable
   

Security Clearance Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
   

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
