Description & Requirements

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented SCCM Engineer in South Burlington, VT; Camp Springs, MD; or in a location to be determined upon offer acceptance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design, implement, and maintain a flexible, highly available SCCM platform for efficient deployment, monitoring, and management of endpoint devices.
  • Utilize System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to manage Windows devices, ensuring a reliable environment for OS deployment, patching, application distribution, and compliance monitoring.
  • Leverage scripting languages such as PowerShell, VB, Batch, and SQL to enhance system functionality and automate processes.
  • Integrate Microsoft Intune with SCCM and other Microsoft products to streamline device management.
  • Engineer and optimize the USCIS device management environment, focusing on industry best practices and interoperability.
  • Manage software distribution, imaging, and patching within the Microsoft Windows environment through SCCM.
  • Implement Mobile Device Management (MDM) within a secure Active Directory framework.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, and MS Teams to ensure transparency, manage workflows, and track inter-dependencies across teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of related experience.
  • 2+ years of experience monitoring performance and throughput against baselines for acceptable performances standards
  • Experience participating in new solution development.
  • Experience working in public and private clouds.
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, collaborative environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills required.
  • Must have strong critical thinking, complex problem solving, appropriate judgment, and decision-making skills
  • Possess superior technical aptitude and effective written and verbal communications skills.
  • Proven experience with managing and using DevOps concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) (or similar)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (or similar)
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (or similar)
  • Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (or similar)
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (or similar)
  • CompTIA Security+ (or similar)
  • Familiarity with InTune
  • Proficiency in tools such as ServiceNow, GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Knowledge of ITIL, DevSecOps, and Agile concepts
  • Experience supporting government contracts

Clearance Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain Public Trust and complete DHS Security Clearance
  • Ability to obtain DHS EOD suitability
  • Current DHS EOD highly preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Office work, typically sedentary with some movement around the office.


The projected compensation range for this position is $79,300.00-$133,100.00.
